Avocado Gelato

Ingredients:
- 340 g (12 oz) ripe avocado flesh (about 3 medium fruit)
- 18 ml (1 Tbs) lime juice+zest (half fruit)
- 100 g (.5 cup) sugar
- 600 ml (2.5 cups) half and half
- dash black pepper
Directions:
- prep
- cut the avocados in half and remove pits
- scoop out flesh with a large spoon
- blend
- purée the avocado, lime juice+zest, sugar, and half of the cream until smooth
- set to low speed, add the remaining cream
- chill
- transfer purée to an air-tight container
- chill until it reaches refridgerator temperature (2 hrs?)
- mix
- process in a gelato maker, until mix reaches soft-serve consistency
- probably only 10-20 minutes
- harden in freeze for a firmer texture
